About IRC Courses

This is the online learning platform for courses offered by the Illinois Resource Center (IRC) in conjunction with National Louis University (NLU).  The course schedule and registration is available at the IRC website.

Summer 2025 courses begin the week of 7/1/25.

Attention Students:  You may create an account in this Moodle yourself.  You will be asked to enter your National Louis University email address (@my.nl.edu or @nl.edu).

If you have taken at least one course through the IRC, you will already have an NLU email address.  If you have an NLU email but don't remember what it is, contact helpdesk@nl.edu.

Is this your first course (Summer 2025)?
If this is the first course you're taking through the IRC, you won't have an NLU student email yet, so a login for this moodle will be created for you.
Login info will be sent on 6/24/25 to the email that you used to register for the course.  Search your email for subject line: "The Center Moodle: New user account".  Or just click Login in upper right and click 'Forgotten username or password?'.  Type in your email address in the 'Search by email address' box and click Search.   Your login info will be sent to you immediately.
If you have any questions, contact Kim at kscannell@cntrmail.org.

-----
Login

Once you create your account/login, you will use that same login for subsequent courses going forward.  Your login will always be the same, but the required enrollment key will be different for each course.

-----
Enrollment Key
Once you log in to this moodle, you will need an enrollment key to enter the course.  You will receive the enrollment key from your instructor via email just prior to the course start date.   This email is sent to the email address you registered for the course with.

Access to the course ends when the course is over.  Be sure to download/save any course materials before the course ends.

-----
Questions?
If you have questions about using this site, please email kscannell@cntrmail.org.

-----
IDEA Survey
Each term there is an open window for students to complete the IDEA survey -- an evaluation of the course you are taking.  Your feedback about your course experience is valuable to us in planning future courses.
The window is roughly 2 weeks before through one week after the last course session.   Access the IDEA Survey here, using the Chrome browser.  You will login with your NLU student login.
